EU Blue Card Webinar - Recording & Infographic Now Available
Peregrine was proud to present a webinar on the EU Blue Card in conjunction with EuRA on 29 November. Access the recording from our Publications page here!
The Blue Card, introduced in the European Union in June 2011, was designed to be a magic bullet – encouraging skilled migrants to head towards Europe instead of the United States by giving them greater flexibility and mobility between EU member states in recognition of the skills and experience they would bring.
The webinar was hosted by Sophy King, founder and Managing Director of Peregrine Immigration Management Ltd. Sophy has over ten years of experience in global immigration and founded Peregrine around 18 months ago.
Peregrine is a new kind of global immigration consultancy that wants to give real immigration knowledge and power to businesses. We have a consultative and knowledge building approach to immigration management. Peregrine has developed Immiguru, an interactive, global immigration knowledge database containing information on over 200 different corporate immigration processes to around 50 different countries.
Sophy was joined by the following experts, who spoke about the impact of the Blue Card in their countries:
- Anita Meyer (Belgium, ampm)
- Bert Van der Maas (Czech Republic, International Business Support s.r.o.)
- Annabelle Esbri (France, ITAMA)
- Karin Schanz (Germany, Palladium Mobility)
- Maria Kouris (Greece, Corporate Relocations)
- Marco Mazzeschi (Italy, Mazzeschi)
- Simona Paduret (Romania, Rilvan)
- Laura Fernandez (Spain, Sagardoy)
